Aims

The Rose Education Foundation aims to provide a support programme, both internationally and in the UK, to help provide appropriate educational opportunities which we believe will enable many children and young people to enjoy a better future for themselves than they currently look forward to. It is also our belief that future generations can only benefit from this education as well, thus ensuring the improvement of living standards for many years to come.

In many countries of the world education is not free and is therefore deprived to many children and young people because they simply can’t afford it. The main focus of the Rose Education Foundation in these areas will be to help provide funds for as many as possible to access an education which will help them to take more control of their futures and empower them to make choices about their careers. The Rose Education Foundation team believe that educating children and young people yields a higher rate of return than any other investment available in the developing world.

Here in the UK young people also face their own particular hurdles and although education is available to all, there are still many problems associated with modern living which the Rose Education Foundation hopes to help overcome. Through our support of youth and community programmes, particularly based in the North East of England, we endeavour to improve the life and social skills of teenagers and by this hope to enhance the lives of the whole communities in which they live.
